URGENT UPDATE: Time to TAKE ACTION - GUILD ISSUES ULP STRIKE NOTICE

Today the Guild Negotiation Committee issued a 10-day strike notice to Kaiser for a 7- days Unfair Labor Practice strike starting at three a.m. (03:00) on Monday, November 15, 2021 and ending at six fifty nine a.m. (06:59) on Monday, November 22, 2021, at which time the union will unconditionally return to work.


We will provide an updated Strike FAQ and answer questions on the website by 11:59pm on Sunday November 7th, 2021.


Managers are NOT permitted to force you to answer about your plans to strike or if you intend to work. You have no obligation to respond to your manager. Simply do not answer or state “I decline to answer.”

If your manager asks you to teach them how to cover your work, you should provide any information or training that they request.

We fully intend to try to resolve our differences and to continue bargaining with Kaiser during this 10-day period.
