Kaiser is unilaterally mandating a COVID-19 vaccine without having consulted the Guild. Currently, Kaiser has informed the Guild that there are only two reasons to decline the vaccine: medical or religious exemptions.
This mandate is a condition of employment and must be bargained with the Guild. The Guild has reached out to our legal counsel and the Employer for bargaining over this matter. The Guild will update you when we have more information.
