Can we sympathy strike with the engineers?

As many of you know, there are other unions that gave their 10-day strike notice to go on a sympathy strike for local 39 engineers on 11/18/21 or 11/19/21.

While you won’t be able to go on a sympathy strike, many may not want to cross the picket line and that is your right under law and the contract.

Paragraph 327

Simply notify your manager, in writing, that you do not want to cross a the picket line and will not be at work starting on ______ date, but will unconditionally return to work on ______ date.

Once you unconditionally return to work, you cannot go out again

Please note that you are only allowed to do this for a legal strike.
